ICE

Mimi & Daddy Doug gifted us all a trip to see ICE at the Gaylord Texan.  We've never been before, and it was soooo cool (pun intended)!!

This is the best family photo we got (besides the one that they took).

It was so cold in this place.  We only let Dex slide 4 or 5 times before we made him stop.  Thank goodness we had the sledding to look forward to, or I think the adults would have frozen to death watching him slide over and over!  He kept saying "One more time!" every time he came down :)

Little tootie Anna wasn't having pictures that day.  Imagine that.  I snagged a few without her knowing, though.

The sledding was so much fun!  Oh man, I was so glad that I had to slide with Anna because she wasn't big enough to go by herself :)

Look at her face!!  (and my face, for that matter!  Ha!)  So happy!

Thank you Mimi & Daddy Doug!!  We had such a great time with you guys!

Mills Grands

The kids and I went to Houston this past weekend.  Mom and Dad came also so that they could watch the kids while Amanda and I did photos.  It was a fun weekend, and we got a couple pictures of all the kids together!!  Yay!

No, Anna didn't smile, but I call it a success that she was actually facing the camera!!  And look at those sweet, smiley boys :)

Happy Halloween!!

The "sit on the front steps" pictures first!!

I think Dex was being a scary shark and also tending to an itch on his leg...

I had these awesome little Minnie Mouse ears that clipped on to her hair like barrettes, but she didn't care for them too much.  I should have just gone with the headband, although I don't know if that would have lasted very long either.  She's still a cutie Minnie Mouse :)  Oh, and these black patent leather shoes she's had for ages that she refused to wear are now her Minnie Mouse shoes, and she even wears them to sleep in.

This is how it went most of the night... Dex and Cooper running ahead, and Anna trailing along behind.
Her favorite snake.  We did a lot of walking around the neighborhood looking at the decorations in the weeks leading up to Halloween.  it was gone for a few days and so when they put it back out, she would always run up to it and say "SNAKE!  You're back!" which is exactly what she's doing here.

Here she is in her "on your mark, get set..." pose.  So very funny!

Book Parade!

The whole family went to watch Dex's book parade on Friday!  It was dress-up day at Anna's daycare, so she was also in costume.  (She's Minnie Mouse - sans ears)

He was.... a DUCK!  His book is "Duck in the Fridge."  (Thanks to Emi for sending the do-it-yourself duck costume info) ;)

Cutest little duck I ever saw!
