Pool Days Are Here!!

I love our pool, but the only problem is it gets NO sun, so usually I think it's too cold to swim.  Today, it actually felt pretty good!!  I didn't expect to spend any time IN the pool (hence my wearing workout clothes instead of a bathing suit), but Dex had fun, and I didn't freeze, so we stayed in for a while!

My Walking Boy & New Pics

Dex and I went to the park for just a few minutes today... he got to walk around and we both got some fresh air.  He's getting so good at the walking!  Sometimes I'll just find him around the house walking all on his own.  I think that's so cute :)  I guess because he's doing it because he wants to, not because we're making him!

Happy Memorial Day

In remembrance of all of our fallen soldiers.  We honor you today.

Dex + Lilly = BFF (at least HE thinks so!)

Dex loves Lilly.  Lilly sometimes tolerates loves Dex. 

They're so funny to watch, because Dex will crawl after her, he'll "catch" her, she'll let him rub/pet on her for a minute, then she'll scamper about 10 feet away, and it starts all over.  I think she's being nice and playing :)  She must know that he's a baby and doesn't know any better, because if I played with her the way Dex "plays" with her, I think she would probably claw my eyes out  :)  I always watch them when he gets close to her to make sure she doesn't hurt him if he pulls her tail, and she's never once snapped at or scratched him.  If she gets too much, she just runs away!  Smart kitty.

First Steps!! Woohoo!!

It's been a long time coming, but Dex took his first steps tonight! Hilarious video below. ENJOY! We sure did! :)

(by the way, don't you love his cool dude look - no shirt and baggy sweats (plus the diaper sticking out the top? Haha!)

I don't really want to explain the big golf caddy thingie in our kitchen (or why it's till there after 2 months), but Dex loves it.  And he think's it's his personal jungle gym. 

I swear he's getting bigger every single day, but he still looks really tiny in this first picture!!

I don't really have many new pics over the last few days.  He's been running a fever (possibly teething??) and has just been cranky.  Hopefully the medicine and hugs will make him feel better and we won't have to go the doctor...
