I'd like to say these last 20 weeks have flown by, but... not really :) I feel like I've been pregnant forever already! I think it has a lot to do with the complications and worry and just plain being nervous about something almost every single day. Now, I'm not saying I'm grumbling my way through this pregnancy, I'm not! I am enjoying being pregnant! And actually starting to look pregnant and getting to wear maternity clothes... I hope that I get to do this for several more weeks... 20 to be exact :) However, I'm just conscious of every single little kick, bump, stretching, tightening, pretty much anything going on in there. I worked myself into a big ol' tizzy this week because I could feel pressure and could also feel what I thought were contractions (although not regular...). Turns out I was having contractions, but they are Braxton Hicks, and have been very sporadic. I've been told to stop doing whatever it was I was doing to bring them on (stress, excessive movements, lifting, etc). Um, okay... If that doesn't work, I may have to go on some sort of medication, but not right now.
I did go to the doctor this week and although she confirmed my contractions, my cervix is still looking very good, so that's one less thing to worry about (for now)! ;) I'm still doing my weekly progesterone shots, and I'll start going in to get a sonogram every week now, instead of every other week. I think that'll help my stress level immensely.
In other happy news, I'm beginning to really feel her roll around in there! I'm very excited about that :) A lot of times, it's when I'm awake and laying in bed at 3 am. I wonder if that's telling of when she'll be awake when she's on the outside? I heard it is, and I'm wondering how you get a baby in utero to adopt a different sleeping pattern. ha!
Since this post doesn't have pictures, here is one of Dex playing in the bluebonnets...
Thanks to everyone for your prayers! We've been feverishly praying too, and I know God's in control.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
Dex spent last week with Pop & Emi, and Sean and I went down for the weekend. I have more pictures from the weekend, but I thought I'd post these for now, since we're all decked out in our green!
Our annual bluebonnet picture of Dex. P&E have a HUGE field of bluebonnets in the front yard, so thankfully we don't have to take them on the side of I-30 or 635 :) Ha!

Super Dex!!
Tia bought Dex a cape and brought it with her to give him this weekend while she was here. She had been asking me if he'd like it, and I kept telling her he would love it, but even I wasn't prepared for his reaction when he opened his present! He barely had it out of the wrapping paper before he yelled "A Superhero Shirt!!", jumped off the ground, clapped his hands and squeaked with joy! It was one of the most precious things I've ever seen... no exaggeration!
I wanted to get some pictures of him with his cape (without our neighborhood in the background), so we went back out to the train tracks, because I knew at least he would think we were going somewhere cool, and not just going to take pictures, lest he decide to run from the camera. Since we were going to the tracks, he also had to bring his two new trains that Uncle Blake's "Mommy and Daddy" gave him this weekend, as well. (SPOILED MUCH??!) :)
Which leads me to add... I can't tell you how blessed we are and how blessed we FEEL to have everyone in our lives who is a part of it. People that go out of their way to be kind to us, and to Dex especially, just warm my heart, and I love and appreciate each and every one of you!

Being goofy for the camera!
And in case you wondered why the cape was slightly wrinkled by Sunday afternoon...
He has to sleep with it every time he gets in bed (along with his trains, as you can see!) :)
