Anna's 18 Month Pictures

Well here we are a month later... and finally some pictures of Anna from when I took pictures at 18 months!  Story of my life  :)

I don't know if it's her age or just her disposition (or maybe a little of both), but I've learned that I just have to go with the flow with her.  She may or may not want to do what I want, and there's not much changing her mind.  She's a fiesty one!  :)

This is how she looked at me most of the time we were taking pictures:

Daddy even tried to help :)

Whenever I sit her down to take her picture, she always, ALWAYS stands right back up and walks to me.  I tried to give her something to play with...

And finally I just started tickling her and then backing away as fast as I could and snapping!  It worked a couple of times.

Then I tried food.  Haha!

I had purchased a bunch of balloons for her to hold, but she kept letting them go.  My friends daughter was out there with us taking some Valentine's pictures, and she tried to show her how to do it.  That look Anna was giving her is priceless  :)

Oh well!!  I still think she looks super cute and I will treasure these pictures that show her personality perfectly at this age!

We went home and she was having some trouble driving her truck around with that long dress, so Sean fixed that problem for her.

My sweetest girl!  Just looking through these pictures makes me want to squeeze you :)

Angel Fire 2014 - Family Vacation

We loaded up the kids and packed the car full of warm clothes and food last weekend and headed out to Angel Fire, NM.  It was an 11 hour drive, which was a challenge at times, but we stopped half-way and stayed in a hotel on the way there and back, which helped tremendously.  Plus, staying in a hotel room was a whole other adventure for Dex and Anna :)

We passed the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo and decided to get out to stretch legs, run out some energy, and take a few pictures.  I'm so glad we did.

It was so, so bright and windy.  Oh my, the wind.  (I don't think Dex's eyes were open in any picture we took here.)

We finally made it to some snow!!

Making snow angels.  It was the first thing he wanted to do once he hit the snow!

There was a lot of falling down in the snow.  Both on accident and on purpose :)

Hello teenager.

Our cabin for the weekend.  It was perfect!

Sunrise one morning, view from the back deck.

Oh sweet Anna...

Hahaha!  I love this picture of Dex.  He's waiting to go in to ski school.

Tiniest snow man :)

On the final day, I took my camera out to try and get some pictures of Dex skiing in school.  He went up the ski lift and everything!  I got a few of him coming down the "real mountain" as he called it.

He's in the red helmet (below).

I'll end on my favorite skiing picture of all time!  Ha!  I love it.
