Dex in the Bubble Bath

Dex used to hate bubble baths.  He would literally cry and cling to you if you tried to sit him in bubbles.  And THEN, he was introduced to Caillou and his favorite one is Caillou in the bubble bath.   (for those of you who don't know Caillou, have a kid... you will!  Or you could just check him out on YouTube.)

I don't really know why that one became his favorite, but I promise you, Dex does not go 10 minutes without asking for 'Caillou bubble bath?'  We watch it about 20 times a day.  Triple that for the weekend.

ANYwho - this is Dex's new bath.  FULL of bubbles!  Maybe we need to watch Caillou going to a new school and loving it.  Or not throwing his toys.  Or simply eating his food and not playing with it.  Hmmm....

Momma/Dex Day

Here's a little bit of our day... Dex and I had a Momma/Dex day and it was GREAT!  I love my weekends with my sweet boy.

My "un-kill-able" plants :)  Aren't they pretty?!

Sweet little annoying Dutch.  He's a pretty dog.  Too bad he gets on my last nerve!!  :)

Aaaaaand back to the work week... Uggg....  hopefully this week is better than last!

I want to get more photos where he's actually IN the air, but here's the best one I could get this morning.  He did it once right after I got my camera, and then when I asked him to do it again so I could get a picture, he stared at me like I was crazy and then ran away!  Whaaa?!!

FIrst Day Of School

There is nothing special about this picture to anyone except me (probably)... but I just needed to remember what my baby boy looked like when he started "school" :)

Dex Is Riding A BIKE!

Not really.  Dex is getting pushed around on a bicycle with training wheels :)  But can't you tell, he loved it.  He had a major meltdown when we stopped (because pushing that thing around really does a number on your hamstrings).  I guess we are the meanest parents alive.  Oh, and it doesn't help that Dex is in the melt down about EVERYTHING stage.  Yayyyyyy for Momma and Daddy!

On a couple of side notes... I have been SUPER busy the last few weeks (if no blog posting has been any indication).  Please pray for me and my ability to balance it all.  It's MUCH APPRECIATED.  Also - Dex is starting a new "school" tomorrow.  I am extremely excited about it and think it will be great for him, but transitioning to something new is always kinda hard on the poor guy.  So please be thinking about him in the morning, and maybe even every morning this week as he begins his new routine :)  xoxo
