Christmas with the O'Neals

We had Christmas with the O'Neal's before they left for Italy mid-December.  That helped Christmas pretty much last for 3 whole weeks :)

Anna got an Elsa dress!  Will Frozen every go away??  Not in our house!!

Anna really enjoyed opening gifts this year, and was decently good at it.  She needed less help from Dex, which was good for her, bad for him.

Handsome little fella.

"Stop Dex! I'm the princess!"

Maaaaad little princess.  Cracks me up.

Doing what she does best, running away from me!

Happy Birthday, Dex!!

Wow.  Here we are at 6 YEARS OLD.  I don't even know how that happened.  Yikes.

I have been taking Dex's picture at the train tracks since he was 3.  I showed Sean this year's picture and he wondered how this was going to go when he was 13/14/15.  I'll tell you how it's going to go.  I am going to tell Dex it's time for his yearly picture, and he's going to go sit on the tracks and smile, and that will be the end of it!!  :)

He didn't put up a fight this year though... still my sweet little boy!  As long as he got to bring his planes along, he didn't care at all.  He even let me put him in his "church clothes" (i.e. - anything besides workout pants and a t-shirt).

LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY TO PIECES.

Year by year... gosh!!  That's crazy to see side by side.  It's like he grew two feet this year!

Anna came with us.  I think her favorite things to do are follow Dex around and do EXACTLY what he does and also to run away from my camera as fast as her little legs will carry her!

Peace out, 5 year old!!  HELLO 6 year old!!

ICE

Mimi & Daddy Doug gifted us all a trip to see ICE at the Gaylord Texan.  We've never been before, and it was soooo cool (pun intended)!!

This is the best family photo we got (besides the one that they took).

It was so cold in this place.  We only let Dex slide 4 or 5 times before we made him stop.  Thank goodness we had the sledding to look forward to, or I think the adults would have frozen to death watching him slide over and over!  He kept saying "One more time!" every time he came down :)

Little tootie Anna wasn't having pictures that day.  Imagine that.  I snagged a few without her knowing, though.

The sledding was so much fun!  Oh man, I was so glad that I had to slide with Anna because she wasn't big enough to go by herself :)

Look at her face!!  (and my face, for that matter!  Ha!)  So happy!

Thank you Mimi & Daddy Doug!!  We had such a great time with you guys!
