Tadpole Huntin'
I took the kids down to the lake where it's flooded our running trails. We went to try to get some tadpoles, and it turned out to be a lot of fun!! We took our shoes off and played in the water for a long time. We ended up with two tadpoles (named Tad and Pole), a bunch of little minnows (?), and two very wet children!
It didn't take Dex long to wade out past keeping his clothes dry :)
Can you see the little tadpole in the bag??
Once the novelty of trying to catch some VERY FAST little fishies wore off, they started catching rocks ;)

Kinder Graduation & Last Day
Dex graduated from Kindergarten this week! The program was super cute :)
Getting his "diploma" to make it official (I guess!).
He loved showing Anna around his classroom. And she LOVED being there :)
This girl also just LOVES her brother and everything he does! She wants to do it all just like he does!
Last day of school!!!!!!!!!!

Rainy Day - Grapevine SeaLife Aquarium
This weekend has been kind of the pits for doing anything outside. It's rained and rained and rained. And rained some more.
On Saturday, we went to the SeaLife Aquarium here in Grapevine. It was neat to see all of the fish! Not so neat to deal with all the major meltdowns and craziness that went along with it. But I'm only going to talk about the fun/good stuff, because who wants to remember the other?? I sure don't (but that definitely doesn't mean it doesn't happen nearly every time we try to do something "fun" as a family. And it also usually ends with me and Sean asking each other why we even bother! Ha!).

Sad stingray...
Happy stingray (or smiling for the camera... I'm not sure which)!!
This monster fish was still a baby. The guide said it would grow to be the size of a small car! Yikes!
Then we had Cookie Co. cookies (while Sean searched for his lost phone. Yeah, we had a little bit of every kind of drama that day)! The cookies were good though :)
