Trick or Treating was so much fun this year! The kids are at awesome ages. I hope we get a couple more years like this with Declan, because I know Anna will only get more and more excited and I'm not ready for Dex to start thinking he's "too old" for things ;)
We got dressed up a little early so I could do a mini photo shoot of everyone in their costumes. We were all superheroes this year, based on Dex's request to be Superman. I'm thinking this may be the last year we can coordinate costumes, but I think it's so cute!
Anna as Wonder Woman. (she would not let go of that bottle as you'll see!)
Monkey see, monkey do...
I tried my hardest to get shots with the kids!!
Oh my gosh, one of the funniest things I saw that night... Anna in google-y eyes! She put them on her head by herself.
Obviously, Dex thought it was pretty funny also :)
Me and my sweet boy!
...and girl!!
Daddy's turn. Anna was not happy about it ;)
But Dex was!
I wanted a picture of the kids. Anna was not cooperating, so...
Got it!! (even though it looks kinda like he's choking her, I can live with it!)
The family picture, on the other hand... yeah, not so much. This is the best one.
And this is what the rest of them looked like :)
We did our actual trick or treating with our neighbors. Who happened to also all be superheroes. They're the ones that have kids Dex and Annabel's ages. I think they went off Cooper's suggestion of Batman, much like we did with Dex. Must be the age for superheroes!
Dex and Cooper (I mean, Superman and Batman!)
I absolutely love this picture! Haha!!
Waiting patiently. Well, I can say patiently because it's hard to tell in the picture.
Anna getting the hang of it!
Trying to show me his candy. Every time they got candy from someone, both he and Cooper would run over and say "Look how much we have NOW!" Every. Single. Time.
We had some really good decorations in our neighborhood. The kids really enjoyed it, and I think the adults did too!
I mean, check this out!! Wow. (Breaking Bad for those who don't watch the show. Makes you want to go watch, doesn't it? Haha!)
Sweet girl with her candy! I think she's probably wanting me to open it for her, giving me puppy dog eyes...
And I think Dex had almost as much fun handing out candy once we got back home. He was so sweet and cute waiting on the trick-or-treaters. I told him it was probably time to come inside when the crowd slowed... he said "But what if someone else comes? I just KNOW that we will have more. I can HEAR them!" as he looked down the road. Sweetheart.
