It's a Sad, Sad Day

I don't particularly want to remember the sad feeling of this day, but I do want to remember our wonderful nanny.  She has been Dex's best friend for the past several months... She's played with him, loved him, dried his tears, calmed his fears... all between the hours of 8 and 5 :)

How funny is his face in this one?? Haha!

Lyns - I can't express how deep my gratitude is to you for taking such wonderful care of our little boy!  You honestly loved him like your own, and I am eternally grateful.  I can't imagine how things are going to change going forward, but here's to the next step!  I'm scared and nervous, but through it all, I know Dex will be fine.  It's me that I'm most worried about :)

  1. You guys have NO idea how blessed I was to be trusted with your precious angel boy. He changed my life, and my faith in God. I want him to know I love him forever. He has a place in my heart, that nothing will ever compare to... He is very lucky to have you guys, its been a long road and I really just love seeing him grow and blossom (that sounds so stinkin girly) But really-its still hard, but i know its not goodbye. Its just Bye for now. I plan to stay in close contact with you guys. I am so thankful. I am not lying or kidding when I say truly my favorite nanny job ever- I know its a new journey now....but you will find that they will also love him equally, how could ya not?! WOW. Thanks guys!
